RDO Equipment Co. has partnered with Cleaire for Off-Road Retrofit Solutions in California. Cleaire is an independent, California-based diesel exhaust retrofit company. They design, develop, and manufacture retrofit emission control systems for today’s existing diesel engines. Their systems have been verified by CARB to provide maximum emission reductions for a wide range of diesel applications, both on-road and off-road.
In July 2007, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved a regulation to reduce emissions from existing off-road diesel engines in construction and off-highway equipment. Fleet owners must meet CARB's progressively more stringent fleet average emission targets by repowering, retrofitting, or replacing a specified percentage of your fleet horsepower annually. The implementation of this program began January 2009.
