What type of equipment will I be selling?
RDO Equipment Co. is a proud John Deere Agriculture and Construction, Vermeer, Topcon and RDO Water dealer group. The type of equipment you will be selling will be dependent on the location of your interest.
Could I participate in the Sales Trainee path without having completed the Sales Internship path?
Yes, the Sales Intern path is not a prerequisite for the Sales Trainee path. The Sales Trainee path requires full-time employment.
What type of training is provided in the Sales Internship path and the Sales Trainee path?
In the Sales Intern path, the student will participate in an 8 - 12 week training program. The student will gain an understanding of how a dealership operates and will learn the organization’s sales processes. In the Sales Trainee path, employees will complete a 90 day training program. Upon the successful completion of the training program, management will discuss sales opportunities with the Sales Trainee and they will have the opportunity to interview for positions that are available and suited for their background and experience.
What will my pay be?
Your base salary and any related compensation will be based upon many factors which include, but are not limited to, experience, academic performance, cost of living factors, and others. We are a pay-for-performance organization and that philosophy and culture are very apparent within our sales teams.
