RDO Equipment Co. has partnered with colleges and universities to hire students who will graduate with degrees that have an emphasis in agriculture, construction management, engineering, sales and marketing, business administration and industrial distribution. These degrees provide an introduction into our industry. We are also interested in students pursuing degrees in other programs that have an interest in our industry and/or sales opportunities. The Access Your Future Sales Program has two path options for students, which will depend on their semester in school. To be considered for a position, all applicants must apply online and complete the RDO Equipment Co. interview process.
In order to be considered for the Sales Intern path, the student must currently be enrolled in college and available to complete a summer internship. The summer internship will provide the student with a basic understanding of how a dealership runs by spending 8 - 12 weeks in the sponsoring dealership. After successful completion of the summer internship and college graduation, management can offer full time employment and the student can begin the Sales Trainee program.
In order to be considered for the Sales Trainee path, the student must be a graduating college senior. The student will apply for a full time Sales Trainee position. After completing the 90-day training program, management will discuss sales opportunities with the Sales Trainee, and then they are able to transfer into a role that is best suited for their background and experience.
