Yuma Elementary School Takes a Field Trip to RDO Equipment Co.
Posted 08/18/2009 —Yuma Elementary School District 1's Summer Language academy visited the Yuma store on July 16, 2009. The Yuma Sun, the area newspaper, attended the field trip to take pictures, and featured the photos on their front page. The Yuma Sun's story included the following story:
As part of an agriculture-theme project in Yuma Elementary School District 1's Summer Language Academy, students were treated to rides Tuesday morning on John Deere tractors of all sizes at RDO Equipment Co., 3050 32nd St. The students, all from schools in District 1, were wide-eyed and excited as they climbed off and on the massive machines driven by members of the RDO Equipment Co. sales staff.
Clint Pikula, Sales Professional, helps a student get into the cab of a John Deere grader prior to going for a ride Tuesday morning. The eight year old student had a smile on his face as he went for a ride with Larry Pikula, Sales Manager.
