Demo Days a Success in Grand Forks
Posted 11/04/2009 —RDO Equipment Co. - Grand Forks hosted a GP Motor Grader Demo Day for a select group of county and city shops and contractors. Most of these customers had previously had the chance to demo the G Motor Grader, and were now interested in learning about and trying out the GP.
After morning rolls and coffee, attendees assembled in the meeting room where Clark Meier and Marty Ruter from John Deere hosted an interesting and informational webinar on the G/GP Series Motor Graders. The customers were able to ask Clark and Marty any questions or concerns they had - and said that they enjoyed the interactive format.
Kevin Grove, Grand Forks Service Manager, conducted a walk-around on the GP Grader. The customers were engaged and asked many questions. The walk-around was a nice lead-in to the machine after the educational webinar.
The customers were served burgers before they went outside to demo the machines. Not only were the 872G and 772GP available, but also the new 764HSD dozer. The 764 Dozer was a big hit with everyone. Customers stayed until late in the afternoon checking out these impressive machines.

Having a smaller number of targeted customers proved to be a great format which allowed personal interaction and lots of one-on-one time with the customers. I am pleased with how all of our employees pitched in to set up, grill and serve food, and spend quality time with our customers. We have a great team!"
