Vermeer Pacific - Portland Lends a Helping Hand to their Neighbor
Posted 06/02/2010 —This spring, Vermeer Pacific - Portland held a food drive for the Oregon Food Bank. They collected about 100 pounds of food from employees and customers. The Oregon Food Bank is located two blocks down the street from the Portland store.
"I think it is great that we can help a local organization that is so physically close to our store, in addition to being a valuable resource in our community," said Ike Malson, Portland General Manager.
Team members are also looking into volunteering some time at the food bank in the coming weeks.
