Vermeer Sales & Service Participates in Walk for Wishes
Posted 07/07/2010 —Walk for Wishes is a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation. It features a 5K run, followed by a 2-mile walk around Normandale Lake, located near Bloomington, MN.
At this year's event, enough money was raised to sponsor the wishes of 12 children. Several employees participated on a team, including Barb Runck, Office Administrator; Brenda Sweet, Sales Coordinator; and Steve Holt, Service Technician.
"This was a fantastic event for a great cause. Over $50,000 was raised, which is enough money to sponsor 12 wishes," said Brenda.
