RDO Equipment Co. Team Members Participate and Facilitate at Parts and Service Course
Posted 04/07/2009 —RDO Equipment Co. team members recently participated, and also facilitated, a North Dakota Implement Dealer's Association (NDIDA) course. The class, "Parts & Service Management Essentials" took place February 4-5, 2009, in Fargo.
Bismarck participants included Scott Staloch, Parts Department Manager and Bryan Dusek, Shop Foreman. Wayne Danielson, Aftermarket Director, and Kurt Riffey, Aftermarket Operations Manager, were featured facilitators.
During the course, participants discussed the latest industry practices designed to significantly increase productivity in both the parts and service departments, and learned how the two departments can work together more effectively to increase profits on both sides. The course detailed the use of flat rates, leading indicators, and financials, and promoted the efficient and productive use of dealership resources.
Rounding out the course were sessions on behavior assessment, customer awareness, conflict management, time management, recruiting and hiring, employee retention, and basic legal reminders.
Scott Staloch was presented the "Top Contributor Award", voted on by his peers.
