RDO Equipment Co. Supports World’s Largest Truck Convoy 2016
North Dakota may be known as being home to the world’s largest Holstein (Salem Sue in New Salem) and the world’s largest buffalo (in Jamestown), but it’s also home to the world’s largest truck convoy, organized by Special Olympics North Dakota.
RDO Equipment Co. once again supported this event by having a semi-truck in the convoy. Glen Haekenkamp, Central Parts Manager drove the semi.
There were 78 semi-trucks lined up to take part in the 14 mile “parade” that began and ended in north Fargo. Fans lined up along the route, supporting the truck drivers and passengers as they drove off. Athlete Buck and staff member Katie rode along with Glen.
This is a significant fundraiser for Special Olympics North Dakota, and one that RDO Equipment Co. is proud to be a part of.
“We had a blast participating and representing RDO Equipment Co.!” said Glen.
