Three Ways to Feel the Love at World Ag Expo

Three Ways to Feel the Love at World Ag Expo

This year marks the 50th annual World Ag Expo, kicking off on February 14. We’ll be in the South Exhibits at booth E21 and invite you to stop by.

After attending and exhibiting at the show for more than 10 years, we’ve come to love World Ag Expo for numerous reasons, and have learned a few tips and tricks to navigate this three-day show.

From how to plan your time to what you’ll see from our manufacturer partners, here’s our advice for taking in one of the biggest indoor and outdoor farm shows in the country – whether it’s your first time or you’ve been going for years.

1. Miles and Miles

Why We Love It
As the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition and one of the most diverse ag shows, there’s something for everyone at World Ag Expo. More than 1,500 exhibitors cover 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. Every day features free seminars that focus on a wide range of topics.

How to Experience It
The size of World Ag Expo can be overwhelming. Especially for first-time attendees, pre-planning your show strategy is advised.

World Ag Expo offers an official app for attendees (free via the app store) to navigate the show. The World Ag Expo website also offers just about everything you’ll want to know about attending the show.

When planning out your day, don’t forget to allow adequate time for parking, walking to different booths, and having discussions with exhibitors.

2. No Time for Downtime

Why We Love It
In addition to seminars and learning about the newest in equipment, technology, and business solutions, the event offers a mix of onsite attractions and special opportunities, some free and others for an added cost.

There’s always something happening, something to learn, and someone to talk to.

How to Experience It
With so much going on, a single day at World Ag Expo can fly by. If possible, allow yourself more than one day to attend the show.

Going hand-in-hand with planning your time at the show, create a priority list – everything you must do, as well as the things you hope to do. This will keep you focused and ensure you don’t leave the show feeling like you missed out on something major.

3. Complete Industry Perspective

Why We Love It
General crops to vineyards. Livestock to dairy farming. Operations, water, and pesticides. World Ag Expo covers a full scope of professional farming, offering something for everyone in agriculture as well as closely-related fields including construction, forestry, and landscape.

Not only is the industry perspective broad, so too is the audience. People from all over the country and even worldwide come to the heart of the Central Valley in California for this annual event.

How to Experience It
Take advantage of the opportunity to see exhibitors and other attendees, both those you know and, especially, those you don’t. There’s a lot that can be learned from speaking to those outside your normal area of business.

Just as World Ag Expo offers something for everyone, RDO Equipment Co. is proud to offer total solutions to agriculture professionals that expand into construction, environmental, irrigation, landscape, and tree care industries.

To learn more, stop by the RDO Vermeer booth at the South Exhibits, E21. Our team is showcasing a variety of equipment including grinders, chippers, trenchers, and mini skid steers. In addition to Vermeer machines on display, our RDO Integrated Controls team will be showing UAV technology from senseFly and Topcon ag solutions.

More to Love Every Year
After nearly five decades of dedicated focus on the newest equipment and solutions for advancing the agriculture industry, World Ag Expo continues to set the standard for agriculture expos.

The entire RDO Equipment Co. team is looking forward to the opportunity to see existing customers and meet new ones, and highlight our unique total solutions approach with equipment from trusted manufacturer partners including Vermeer, Topcon, senseFly, and John Deere.

We’d love to see you at the show, so please visit us at this year’s World Ag Expo! We’ll be in the South Exhibits at booth E21.
