Tucson Events Support Customers, Community
In the past month, the Tucson store was involved in the Southern Arizona Career Days and hosted a Laser Control and GPS focused Lunch & Learn.
Southern AZ Career Days
More than 1250 students attended the Southern Arizona Construction Career Days, held at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds. This event gives high school students a hands-on look at career opportunities in the construction industry.
Store Manager Pat Burnham and Service Technician Fermin Rivera were on hand and they brought with them a John Deere 332E, 310SL, and 210L. Lisa Roberts and John Davis also attended.
“The interest level was very high in regards to John Deere, which was to be expected. But when they learned of RDO Equipment Co. and our worldwide footprint, they were even more impressed,” said Pat.
Lunch & Learn
In mid-November, the Tucson team hosted 12 customers at a Lunch & Learn covering the basics of Laser Control and GPS.
The goal of the luncheon was to inform the local contractors on the basics of Laser Control and GPS and show how this technology can make them more efficient and contribute very positively to their bottom line.
“Several customers stayed past the scheduled time to ask questions and further discuss the available technology. Josh Price, RDO Integrated Controls General Manager, and Will Newborn, RDO Integrated Controls Account Manager, did an excellent job of presenting, along with Tucson Sales Professional, John Davis,” Pat commented.
