Erin Hightower, RDO Equipment Co., on the Agriculture Technology Podcast

Posted on
From her early days growing up on a farm to obtaining a Master’s Degree in Agriculture to spending the past 11 years as an agronomist, Erin Hightower has been in the agriculture industry her entire life. Now a certified crop advisor (CCA) and agronomist with RDO Equipment Co.’s Northwest region, Erin works with the company’s Montana, Oregon, and Washington areas.

Host Tony Kramer invited Erin on the podcast to continue last episode’s discussion of John Deere Field Connect, specifically, the data management side, and areas including soil moisture, leaf wetness, temperature, wind speed, and rain. When it comes to collecting and analyzing the data from Field Connect, the possibilities are nearly endless – as Erin puts it, “The ability to manage and view data in this system is limited only by how much you want to work with.”
