How Service and Connected Machines Keep Machines Up and Running

Ernie Dobson, a 20-year construction industry veteran and Sales Professional at RDO Equipment Co. explains how a connected machine with a service plan provides peace of mind during a project with Marathon Construction Corporation.  

Marathon Construction Corporation has worked with RDO’s team members at the Lakeside store in California since 2008 and partnered with RDO during their last San Elijo Lagoon Restoration. The company contacted RDO when this San Dieguito Lagoon restoration project caught their eye. 

The San Dieguito project covers more than 150 acres (about twice the area of a large shopping mall) and will take eight years to complete. Marathon Construction Corporation needs to move about a million yards of dirt during the project.
