The Offutt Family Foundation is honored to announce the recipients of this year’s Connelly/Kreps Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship celebrates the enduring legacies of Mark Kreps and Steve Connelly, RDO leaders who left an indelible mark on the company and team members.
An independent scholarship committee selects the recipients, assessing applicants based on qualities that Steve and Mark exemplified. These include a strong entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to hard work through various activities and jobs and a commitment to serving and leading others. Daughter of Justin Stibbens, Customer Service Advisor – McKinney, Texas
Pursuing a Marketing and Business degree at Baylor University
Addison is graduating from the Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas. During her time there, Addison served as the president of the Ranch Management Club and was a member of the Varsity Cheerleading team. In college, she is excited to learn how to combine both her creative and analytical skills to develop innovative marketing campaigns. Addison is also looking forward to gaining practical experience through internships and student organizations on how to make a meaningful impact in the business world upon graduation.
Daughter of Ryan Dyke, Service Manager – Minot, North Dakota
Pursuing an Automotive Collision Technology degree at Bismarck State College
Allison is graduating from Minot High School in North Dakota, where her passion for auto collision and repair began. Between interactive classes and an internship at a local autobody shop, she learned the importance of patience and attention to detail – two skills that will serve her well in her future career. Outside of repair work, Allison is involved with Future Business Leaders of America and the National Technical Honor Society.
Daughter of Eric Mauch, Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Manager – Fargo, North Dakota
Pursuing a Nursing degree at Montana State University
Anna's passion for nursing is inspired by personal experiences with her family and the hope that one day she can provide care and advocacy in underserved areas around the world. Anna chose Montana State University for its rigorous nursing program and the opportunity to pursue a Global Health minor. Before heading to college in the fall, Anna will work as a CNA this summer and spend time leading service projects in her community.
Daughter of Dustin Rische, Account Manager – Redfield, South Dakota
Pursuing an Ag Business degree at South Dakota State University
Brooklyn is choosing a career in Agricultural Business due to her rural upbringing and her interest in both agriculture and math. In high school, Brooklyn held leadership roles in various extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA and Student Council. Brooklyn also volunteered as an elementary church teacher and Park & Rec volleyball coach. She is looking forward to contributing to the growth and improvement of the agribusiness field throughout college and beyond.
Son of Naomi Hoeg, Administrative Supervisor – Fargo, North Dakota
Pursuing a Marine Biology degree at Minnesota State University
Cameron is an aspiring marine biologist with a passion for understanding life and living organisms. Fascinated by animals and plants from a young age, Cameron has spent time outside of school volunteering at the local Fargo Zoo to learn more about animal care. He is thrilled to be attending MSUM for marine biology, driven by a desire to protect the ocean's environment and its species.
Son of Melinda Reddon, Aftermarket Manager – Rock Springs, Wyoming
Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design at the University of Wyoming
Randal has spent his high school career pursuing many passions, including art, powerlifting and hockey, which he has played both locally and internationally. In college, he hopes to pursue degrees in graphic design and business with the goal of one day working in architecture. Additionally, Randal has held leadership roles as 4-H President, FBLA Vice President and a powerlifting coach, which will serve him well as his tackles his college education.
Daughter of Reggie Willson, Sales Professional – Ogden, Utah
Pursuing a degree in Kinesiology/Pre-physical therapy from Utah State University
Last year, Taytem suffered an ACL and partial PCL tear, ending her senior year as a cheerleader. Despite the news, Taytem's journey through surgery and physical therapy sparked a passion in her for the medical field. Her therapist’s support and encouragement helped Taytem regain strength and confidence, leading her to consider pursuing a career in physical therapy to help others overcome setbacks.
Son of Luke Harakel, Field Service Manager – Sauk Rapids, Minnesota
Pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement from Central Lakes College
William is excited to be attending Central Lakes College to obtain a degree in Criminal Justice. His decision to pursue this area of study was largely inspired by his grandfather’s Marine Corps service and his never-ending commitment to the local community. Outside of school, William is a cook at a local café and enjoys spending time helping younger students with golf and football.
