Washington Team Members Help Bring Thanksgiving Meals to Local Families

Team members from the Kennewick, Pasco, and Sunnyside RDO Equipment Co. stores utilized their Community Time benefit to help ensure local families were prepared for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The RDO group partnered with local food bank 2^nd Harvest to distribute Thanksgiving meal boxes to community members. The boxes contained turkey, potatoes, apples, stuffing, carrots, and more, and each box weighed in at around 30 pounds.

Between two different events in Sunnyside and Kennewick, 40 RDO volunteers helped distribute 1500 meal boxes in the community, part of 2^nd Harvest’s larger annual Turkey Drive initiative, which this year provided 13,500 Thanksgiving meals to community members.

“2nd Harvest is a great organization that has been a long-time partner of RDO and our growers,” said Pasco Store Manager Jarrod Bailey. “This was a great opportunity for our teams to help our community and provide meals for Thanksgiving, an opportunity we found very rewarding.”
