In 1963, Harry Hammett started a small business with only five employees and one piece of equipment.

Fast forward to 2000, RDO Equipment Co. introduced Topcon technology to Hammett Excavation, proving to be a game changer. What was once considered a modest company has since evolved into a workforce of more than 300 employees, all propelled by the power of technology.

"My dad saw an opportunity with Topcon. We bought rovers, bases and machine control. Everyone thought we were spending extra money, but they didn't see how much faster we were doing the job," said Gaylon Hammett, President of Hammett Excavation.
