Eric Bechtold, General Manager of Billings, Great Falls, and Bozeman, is serving a two-year term as president of the Montana Contractor’s Association (MCA) Associates’ Board of Directors.
The MCA supports and assists members in numerous ways, including advocating for the construction industry in the legislature and leveraging the strength of the national Associated General Contractors of America. The MCA has two boards that help drive the organization forward. The Associates’ Board of Directors is made up of individuals who work for firms that supply materials, equipment, and services to general contractors.
For the past several years, Eric served as a member on the Associates’ Board of Directors. During his time as a board member, he has not only formed relationships with key business partners, but offered support to the industry. The Associates’ Board of Directors serves as a support organization for the association, assisting with statewide events including the MCA’s Summer Outing, Annual Meeting and Convention, along with other key networking events. The board also coordinates the MCA Associates’ Division Presidential Scholarships for high school students and undergraduates.
Through Eric’s role as president, he will also sit on the MCA’s Board of Directors and be a part of helping shape MCA’s strategic direction and the way the association serves its members.
“I have enjoyed serving on the board and look forward to this new role as president,” Eric said. “I take my involvement and responsibilities with the MCA seriously because my work in this position allows me to be a true ambassador for our company, and companies like ours, within the construction industry.”
