This month, the RDO Vermeer team in Oregon is partnering with Vermeer for its first-ever Road Show. The Rock the Iron Road Show is happening Oct 9-11 in Newberg and will feature several types of underground equipment, with the highlight being Vermeer’s newest horizontal directional drill (HDD), the D40x55DR S3 Navigator®.
Here’s a preview of what to expect at the Rock the Iron Road Show and why to attend this exciting event.
A Live Look
While the D40x55DR S3 Navigator was introduced late last year, many have yet to see it in action. The Rock the Iron Road Show will be the first opportunity for many to experience the new drill firsthand and learn why it’s an important addition to the Vermeer HDD lineup.
In addition to the featured HDD unit, several pieces of underground equipment will be showcased, from a variety of manufacturers including DCI, Hi-Vac, McLaughlin, Sonetics, and Vac-Tron, making the Rock the Iron Road Show a chance for most attendees to discover something new.
Get Hands On
For those who learn by doing, there will be opportunities to demo the D40x55DR S3 Navigator, as well as additional underground machines from other manufacturers at the event.
Watch and See
If actually getting in the operator’s seat isn’t of interest, attendees can watch live equipment demos to see the machines in action.
Product experts from RDO Vermeer and Vermeer will be available to discuss the equipment, answering specific questions and offering a personalized experience to all attendees.
Something for All
The Rock the Iron Road Show is meant for all those who work in the underground industry, from equipment operators to technicians to company owners. The format of hands-on operation, live demos, and direct interaction with product experts offers something for every knowledge and skill level, and allows attendees to get the information that matches their specific interest or even to address a challenge unique to them.
