Contractors and businesses across California’s Central Valley continue to grow, and RDO Equipment Co.’s Fresno team is growing with them.
The RDO Equipment Co. team welcomed customers, employees, partners and community members to celebrate the grand opening of its new Fresno facility, marking a new chapter for the team and the company’s continued investment in the region.
For years, the team served customers from its Fowler location, maximizing every inch of a facility that could no longer keep pace with demand. Limited shop space and parts storage made expansion difficult, creating the need for a larger, purpose-built location designed to better support customers, team members and future growth.
“This move has been a long time coming, and it means a lot to all of us to finally be in this space,” said Nhia Vue, RDO Equipment Co. Fresno Store Manager, during the grand opening celebration.
The new Fresno facility provides approximately 22,000 square feet of combined shop and warehouse space, giving the team — for the team, which specializes in the sale, service and support of Vermeer equipment — more room to service equipment safely, efficiently and indoors. The move also significantly expands service capacity, growing from seven bays at the former Fowler location to as many as 19 bays in Fresno.
The new facility includes:
- Approximately 22,000 square feet of combined shop and warehouse space
- Indoor service capabilities for large equipment
- Expanded parts storage, increasing warehouse capacity from approximately 1,000 square feet to 3,300 square feet
- Built-in loading docks and a dedicated wash bay to improve workflow and efficiency
- Additional space to support future growth
Vue said that while the new facility represents a major investment in customers and the Central Valley, the milestone also reflects the dedication of the Fresno team.
“When I think about what it took to get here, I think about our team,” Vue said. “They showed up every day and made it work, even when our previous location made things challenging. This building reflects that effort, and I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished together.”
That team has continued to grow alongside customer needs. Today, more than 22 dedicated team members work together to be a one-stop shop for equipment, maintenance and technology.
The investment comes as infrastructure projects and construction activity continue to drive demand across the region. With more space, additional service capacity and expanded parts storage, the Fresno team is better equipped to support customers working across the Central Valley.
Vue also recognized the customers whose trust helped make the move possible.
“Your trust is what made this possible,” Vue said. “As your needs have grown, we’ve worked to grow alongside you. This new space gives us the ability to operate more efficiently and deliver a better overall experience.”
During the grand opening celebration, guests toured the new facility, connected with RDO team members and enjoyed food trucks while getting a firsthand look at the operation’s expanded capabilities.
