Montoya said the ATX delivers large pieces of trees to the brush cutter, reducing the processing time needed to turn large debris into manageable chips, which are used in other landscaping needs or made into mulch.
The ATX’s telescopic boom makes loading bins and feeding chippers more efficient. Then the brush cutter’s SmartFeed System detects roller jams and cycles material back and forth to keep the debris moving. Montoya said the feed‑sensing control system allows his operators to choose the right RPM droop setting based on the size of the material they are feeding into the cutter.
“We’re loading up 40-yard bins or pushing debris right into the chipper without it falling on the ground,” he said. “It’s life-changing for our fleet.”
